Dr. Mia Hardy joined 91¸£ÀûÉç as provost on June 1, 2025. Mia has over 20 years of extensive experience in higher education leadership, holding positions of dean, honors director, professor and department chair at both two- and four-year colleges and universities, as well as the role of interim vice president within City Colleges of Chicago. Her background is in student-centered leadership and working to address equity gaps in education for diverse student populations. Most recently, Mia served as the dean of liberal arts at Oakton College.

As provost, Mia oversees full- and part-time faculty members and academic affairs staff, playing a vital role in stewarding the strategic direction of 91¸£ÀûÉç’s academic programs and services. 

Mia earned her PhD in sociology from Georgia State University, a Master of Public Administration from Columbus State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Georgia.
