Department of English
The Department of English offers a major in English with concentrations in literature, writing and English education. We also offer dual-degree programs that allow you to complete both a BA and a master鈥檚 degree on an accelerated schedule.
The department contributes to the 91福利社 mission through offerings in three areas of the curriculum:
- Composition courses that meet a Core Curriculum foundation requirement
- Literature courses that meet a Core Curriculum area studies requirement
- A developmental sequence of courses leading to the BA degree with a major in English
English courses at 91福利社 help students to become more skilled and thoughtful readers, writers and thinkers. They equip students to consider the human experience in all its complexity鈥攖o imagine a more just and humane world and contribute to its creation.
